As used in this chapter unless the context otherwise requires: (1) "Office" means the Office for the Blind; (2) "Legally blind" means a visual acuity of 20/200 or less in the better eye with correction or a visual field of 20 degrees or less; (3) "Visually impaired" means a condition of the eye with correction which constitutes or progressively results for the individual in a substantial disability to employment; and (4) "Executive director" means the executive director of the Office for the Blind. Where a conflict exists, Acts ch. 405, which was last enacted by the General Assembly, prevails under KRS 446.250.
