(1) (2) The commissioner of education shall establish and appoint members to a Career and Technical Education Advisory Committee to advise the Department of Education on the development of a robust and effective career and technical education program. The committee shall include representatives of business, industry, and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System; the commissioner of the Department of Workforce Investment; and any other individuals deemed appropriate by the commissioner of education.
