119.277 Prohibitions against holding elective office.

Any person who shall have been convicted of any election law offense which is a Class A misdemeanor shall not be permitted to hold elective office for a period of five (5) years following the conviction. Any person who shall have been convicted of any election law offense which is a felony shall not be permitted to hold elective office until his civil rights have been restored by executive pardon. Effective:July 15, 1988 History: Created 1988 Ky. Acts ch. 341, sec. 17, effective July 15, 1988.
