The ambulance service district tax shall be collected in the same manner as provided in KRS 108.080 to 108.180 and shall be used solely for the maintenance and operation of the city, county, city-county, or district ambulance service. Other matters with regard to the operation and management of the ambulance service district shall be in accordance with the provisions of KRS 108.080 to 108.180 insofar as they do not conflict with the provisions of this section.
