Download as PDF 82.705 Local government authorized to enact nuisance code. A local government may, by ordinance, enact a nuisance code and impose penalties for violation of the nuisance code. The violations may be enforced with criminal penalties or a local government may, by ordinance, elect to enforce violations with civil penalties pursuant to the procedures set forth in KRS 82.710, 82.720, and 82.725. Effective:July 14, 1992 History: Created 1992 Ky. Acts ch. 349, sec. 2, effective July 14, 1992.
