In the absence of the county attorney, the first assistant shall act as county attorney, and in the absence of the county attorney and the first assistant, the second assistant shall act as county attorney. The assistants shall not receive additional compensation for acting as county attorney. Effective:October 1, 1942 History: Recodified 1942 Ky.
