As used in KRS 36.250 to 36.270: (1) "Board" means the Kentucky Community Crisis Response Board; (2) "Community crisis response team" means the statewide membership of trained volunteers that provide crisis response services under the direction of the board; (3) "Crisis response services" means consultation, risk assessment, referral, and on-site crisis intervention services to persons impacted by crisis or disaster, but shall not be construed to include any services performed or intended to be performed by any other agency of the Commonwealth, any of its subdivisions, or any private party under KRS Chapter 224 or 39; (4) "Debriefing session" means the crisis response services rendered during or after a crisis or disaster; and (5) "Local community crisis response team" means a team formed to provide crisis response services in a county, district, or region and which operates in accordance with protocols and procedures established by the board.
