(1) (2) No person shall act as a motor carrier without first having obtained a certificate or permit, as the case may be, from the department. No person shall knowingly employ the services of a motor carrier not authorized to perform such services. History: Amended 1964 Ky. Acts ch. 95, sec. 7. -- Created 1950 Ky. Acts ch. 63, sec. 10, effective June 15, 1950.
