In enacting KRS 151B.180 to 151B.210, it is the intention of the General Assembly of Kentucky to provide for and improve the vocational rehabilitation of citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky with physical and mental disabilities in order that they may increase their social and economic well-being and the productive capacity of the Commonwealth and nation. Effective:July 15, 1994 History: Amended 1994 Ky. Acts ch. 405, sec. 20, effective July 15, 1994. -Repealed, reenacted, and amended as KRS 151B.180 by 1990 Ky. Acts ch. 470, sec. 35, effective July 1, 1990, which prevailed over the repeal and reenactment of KRS 163.110 by 1990 Ky. Acts ch. 476, Pt. V, sec. 595, effective July 13, 1990. -- Amended 1984 Ky. Acts ch. 316, sec. 1, effective June 13, 1984. -- Created 1956 Ky. Acts ch. 172, sec. 1. Formerly codified as KRS 163.110. Legislative Research Commission Note (7/13/90). This section has been treated by two 1990 Acts; its repeal and reenactment with amendment in Acts ch. 470 renumbered the section into KRS ch. 151B.
