218A.150 License required to manufacture controlled substances. (1) (2) No person shall manufacture, compound, mix, cultivate, grow, or by any other process produce, or prepare controlled substances, and no person as a wholesaler shall supply the same, without having first obtained a license so to do from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. The Cabinet for Health and Family Services may adopt regulations and set reasonable fees relating to the issuance and renewal of such licenses. All such licenses shall expire on June 30, following the date of issue, unless renewed. All such fees shall be deposited in a revolving fund to be used by the cabinet in carrying out the provisions of this chapter. No person shall manufacture any controlled substance except under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Effective: June 20, 2005 History: Amended 2005 Ky.
