216.300 Definitions for KRS 216.300 to 216.308. As used in KRS 216.300 to 216.308, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) "Licensed health care professional" means a physician and surgeon, podiatrist, osteopath, osteopathic physician and surgeon, physician assistant, nurse, dentist, or pharmacist. (2) "Suicide" means the act or instance of taking one's own life voluntarily and intentionally. Effective: July 15, 1994 History: Created 1994 Ky. Acts ch. 269, sec. 1, effective July 15, 1994.
