charges. (Effective until January 1, 2011)
(1) The Secretary of State shall collect the following fees when the documents
described in this subsection are delivered to him for filing:
(a) Articles of incorporation .......................................................................... $ 40

(ad) Certificate of revocation of authority to transact business ...................... No fee (2) The Secretary of State shall collect a fee of ten dollars ($10) each time process is served on him under this chapter. The party to a proceeding causing service of
process shall be entitled to recover this fee as costs if he prevails in the proceeding. (3) The Secretary of State shall collect the following fees for copying and certifying the copy of any filed document relating to a domestic or foreign corporation:
(a) Five dollars ($5) per request for the first five (5) pages and fifty cents ($0.50) a page for each page thereafter; and (b) Five dollars ($5) for the certificate. (4) The county clerk shall receive a fee pursuant to KRS 64.012 for recording and issuing reports, articles, and statements pertaining to corporations. Effective: July 15, 2010

reflect amendments made to those sections by 2007 Ky. Acts ch. 137 shall be deemed
effective as of June 26, 2007, and those provisions are hereby made expressly
retroactive to that date, with the remainder of the text of those sections being
unaffected by the provisions of this section." Legislative Research Commission Note. Similar versions of this section were created by 1988 Acts Chapter 85, Section 3, and 1988 Acts Chapter 23, Section 3, which
conflict in regard to the amount of fees to be charged by Secretary of State. Pursuant

2010 Ky. Acts ch. 51. Pursuant to Section 184 of Acts ch. 51, it was the intent of the
General Assembly that the repeal and reenactment not serve to void the amendment,
and these Acts do not appear to be in conflict, therefore, they have been codified
together. Legislative Research Commission Note (7/15/2010). 2010 Ky. Acts ch. 51, sec. 183, provides, "The specific textual provisions of Sections 1 to 178 of this Act which
