Miscellaneous charges. (1) The Secretary of State shall
collect the following fees when the documents described in this
subsection are delivered to him for filing: (a) Articles of

...................... No fee (2) The Secretary of State shall
collect a fee of ten dollars ($10) each time process is served on
him under this chapter. The party to a proceeding causing service
of process shall be entitled to recover this fee as costs if he
prevails in the proceeding.
(3) The Secretary of State shall collect the following fees for
copying and certifying the copy of any filed document relating to a
domestic or foreign corporation: (a) Fifty cents ($0.50) a
page for copying; and (b) Five dollars ($5) for the
certificate. (4) The county clerk shall receive a fee pursuant to
KRS 64.012 for recording and issuing reports, articles, and
statements pertaining to corporations. Effective: July 15,

Research Commission Note. Similar versions of this section were
created by 1988 Acts Chapter 85, Section 3, and 1988 Acts Chapter
23, Section 3, which conflict in regard to the amount of fees to be
charged by Secretary of State. Pursuant to KRS 446.250, the fees
set forth in Chapter 85 prevail as the later enactment. The
remaining provisions do not appear to be in conflict and have been
compiled together.
