Article 20. - SUPPORT OF PATIENTS AT CERTAIN INSTITUTIONS
59-206c Same; appeals to secretary of social and rehabilitation services from decisions compromising or refusing to compromise claim.
59-2006c. Same; appeals to secretary of social and rehabilitation services from decisions compromising or refusing to compromise claim. Any patient or his or her relative liable for his or her support under this act may appeal to the secretary of social and rehabilitation services pursuant to K.S.A. 75-3306 from any decision of the state hospital or employee of the department of social and rehabilitation services in compromising or refusing to compromise a claim against said patient or relative for the cost of treatment of such patient.
