Chapter 72.--SCHOOLS
Article 64.--SCHOOL DISTRICT FINANCE AND QUALITY PERFORMANCE

      72-6432.   Exceeding general fund budget; penalty. (a) In case a district expends in any school year an amount for operating expenses which exceeds its general fund budget, the state board shall determine the excess and deduct the same from amounts of general state aid payable to the district during the next school year.

      (b)   The provisions of this section shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 1992.
