25-216. Challenging right to vote; affidavit.
The right of any person to vote at any national, state, county and
township primary election may be challenged by any elector upon the same
ground and his right to vote be determined in the same manner as at a
national, state, county and township general election, except as otherwise
provided herein.
If the person offering such person's vote is
challenged as
unqualified on the
ground that the person is not a member of the party announced
by
such person, the person shall
make and subscribe an affidavit in the following form, which shall be
presented to and retained by the election board, and returned by the
supervising judge with the poll list:
STATE OF KANSAS, COUNTY OF ________, ss.
I, ______________, am a registered voter in this
jurisdiction and
I am qualified to vote in this election. I am affiliated with the ________
party; I have
not signed the petition of a member of any other party who is seeking a
nomination at this primary election; and I have not signed the
nominating petition of an independent candidate for any office for which
candidates are to be voted for at this primary election.
I declare under penalty of
perjury that the foregoing is true and correct, this ____ day of
__________,
