Article 38.--CRIMES AFFECTING GOVERNMENTAL FUNCTIONS

      21-3838.   Unlawful disclosure of authorized interception of wire, oral or electronic communications. (a) An unlawful disclosure of authorized interception of wire, oral or electronic communications is communicating to any person or making public in any way, other than as provided by law, the existence of an application or order for such interception issued pursuant to K.S.A. 22-2516 and amendments thereto or the resulting investigation, with the intent to obstruct, impede or prevent such authorized interception.

      (b)   Unlawful disclosure of authorized interception of wire, oral or electronic communications is a severity level 10, nonperson felony.
