      21-3712.   Destroying a written instrument. Destroying a written instrument is knowingly tearing, cutting, burning, erasing, obliterating or destroying a written instrument, in whole or in part, with intent to defraud.

      Destroying a written instrument is a severity level 9, nonperson felony.
