2006 Kansas Code - 9-806
9-806. Failure to engage in business. Any newly organized bank or trust company which shall not begin business within one hundred and twenty days after a certificate has been issued to it by the commissioner shall not engage in the banking business or the business of a trust company without again obtaining a certificate of authority from the commissioner.
