2006 Kansas Code - 8-2434

      8-2434.   Selling motor vehicles without a license; penalty. It shall be unlawful and constitute a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine not to exceed $2,500, for any person to do business as a motor vehicle dealer, salvage vehicle dealer, motor vehicle manufacturer, motor vehicle converter, auction motor vehicle dealer, or salesperson without a license issued by the director. The isolated or occasional sale of a vehicle by a person who owned such vehicle shall not constitute the doing of business as a vehicle dealer.
