2006 Kansas Code - 76-2202

      76-2202.   Institution established. Laws 1889, chapter 158, sections 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7, included by reference. [The title to the act follows: "An act to provide for the erection and equipment of building for the state industrial school for girls, at Beloit, Kansas, making an appropriation therefor, and providing for the government of the institution." Provision was made that the site of not less than 40 acres should be donated by the city of Beloit within three miles of said city. The remainder of the act relates to the construction of buildings and management of the institution, which, by later acts has been placed in the control of the board of administration.]
