2006 Kansas Code - 75-7406

      75-7406.   Division of health policy and finance established; director of health policy and finance, appointment. [See Revisor's Note] On July 1, 2005, the division of health policy and finance is hereby established within the department of administration. The head of the division of health policy and finance shall be the director of health policy and finance, who shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the governor. The director of health policy and finance shall be in the unclassified service under the Kansas civil service act and shall receive an annual salary fixed by the governor. Under the supervision of the governor, the director of health policy and finance shall administer the division of health policy and finance and shall perform such other powers, duties and functions as may be prescribed by law.
