2006 Kansas Code - 75-1268
75-1268. Architectural services for purposes other than building projects; contracts and procedures; exemption from certain statutes. Whenever architectural services are required by a state agency for any purpose, other than for a specific project for the construction of a building or for major repairs or improvements to a building, the secretary of administration and the chief administrative officer of the state agency may negotiate and enter into a contract with a qualified architect for the required architectural services. Such contracts shall not be subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 75-3739, and amendments thereto, or to the provisions of the acts contained in K.S.A. 75-1250 to 75-1268.
