2006 Kansas Code - 72-8149

      72-8149.   U.S.D. 260 transfer of funds; purpose of expenditures. Unified school district No. 260, Sedgwick county, Kansas, may transfer not to exceed four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to be received during the 1971-1972 school year under public law 388 as amended by public law 91-466 from its general operating fund to its capital outlay fund and expend the same for any purpose which is authorized for expenditures from the capital outlay fund, and any such transfer shall not be deemed an operating expense. Such school district may transfer not to exceed ninety-five thousand dollars ($95,000) to be received in such school year under such public law from its general operating fund to its vocational education fund and expend the same for any purpose which is authorized for expenditures from the vocational education fund, and any such transfer shall not be deemed an operating expense.

      Nothing in this act shall be deemed to authorize said school district to impose any tax levy or budget for operating expenses in any fiscal year an amount in excess of that limited by law.
