72-4471. Applicability of statutes; provision of vocational education courses and programs; supremacy of act. (a) The provisions of all statutes of general application to area vocational schools and area vocational-technical schools shall apply to every technical college that formerly was an area vocational school or an area vocational-technical school. Whenever area vocational schools or area vocational-technical schools are defined, referred to or designated in a statute, such definition, referral or designation shall be deemed to apply to every technical college that formerly was an area vocational school or an area vocational-technical school.
(b) A technical college is authorized to provide vocational education courses or programs to pupils enrolled in a school district.
(c) To the extent that the provisions of this act conflict with any other provision of law, the provisions of this act shall control.
