2006 Kansas Code - 47-669
47-669. Accreditation of swine as being specific pathogen free; regulations and standards. Any person who seeks to obtain SPF accreditation for any swine, and any person who has obtained SPF accreditation for any swine, shall observe, perform and comply with all regulations and standards established by the commissioner pertaining to SPF swine raised, or to be raised, in Kansas. The commissioner is authorized to accredit swine as being specific pathogen free which have been inspected by the commissioner or his assistants or agents, and which have been found to be eligible for accreditation under the regulations and standards adopted by the commissioner pertaining to specific pathogen free swine. The commissioner is authorized to prescribe and adopt regulations and standards for SPF accreditation for swine.
