2006 Kansas Code - 47-620

      47-620.   Prohibiting entrance of stock from other states where disease has become epidemic. Whenever the state livestock commissioner has good reason to believe that any contagious or infectious disease has become epidemic in certain localities in other states, territories or countries, or that there are conditions which render domestic animals from such infected districts liable to convey such disease, the livestock commissioner shall publish an order prohibiting the entrance of any livestock of the kind diseased into the state from such infected district.
