2006 Kansas Code - 44-929
44-929. Exclusive jurisdiction of state over boiler safety. No city, county or other political subdivision of this state shall have the power to make any laws, ordinances or resolutions providing for the construction, installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of boilers within the limits of such city, county or political subdivision, and any such laws, ordinances or resolutions heretofore made or passed shall be void and of no effect.
