2006 Kansas Code - 38-1374
38-1374. Costs and expenses. (UCCJEA 317). If the respondent is not the prevailing party, the court may assess against the respondent all direct expenses and costs incurred by the prosecutor and law enforcement officers under K.S.A. 38-1372 or 38-1373 and amendments thereto.
