2006 Kansas Code - 25-1325
25-1325. Equipment to be at voting places. The county election officer shall have the voting machines and all necessary furniture and equipment at the voting places before the time fixed for the opening of the polls, have the counters on the machines set at zero (000) and otherwise have the machines in good and proper order for use at such election.
