      19-2764.   Same; meetings of the board of directors; compensation of directors and assessors; payment. That regular meetings of the board of directors shall be held on the first Tuesday of each quarter, and special meetings may be held at any time when all the directors are voluntarily present or may be called by the president or any two directors at any time. Each meeting of the board, whether special or regular, shall be open to the public. That each director shall receive as compensation for services as such, the sum of $5 per day while actually and necessarily engaged in the performance of his duties under this act. The assessors provided for by this act shall receive for their services each the sum of $5 per day while actually and necessarily engaged in the performance of his duty. The compensation of directors and assessors shall be paid out of the general fund authorized by this act.
