100B.3  Training agreements.

The state fire marshal shall enter into written agreements with other public agencies that have established regional emergency response training centers under section 100B.22 to provide training in conjunction with training provided by the fire service training bureau.  Moneys appropriated shall not be distributed by the department of public safety to a regional training center until such an agreement has been entered into with the regional training center.

The state fire marshal may enter into written agreements with other educational institutions to assist in research conducted by the bureau.
