222.62 Settlement in another county.

When the board of supervisors determines through the central point of coordination process that the legal settlement of the person is other than in the county in which the application is received, the determination shall be certified to the superintendent of the resource center or the special unit where the person is a patient. The certification shall be accompanied by a copy of the evidence supporting the determination. The superintendent shall charge the expenses already incurred and unadjusted, and all future expenses of the patient, to the county certified to be the county of legal settlement.
