        43.83  VACANCIES IN OFFICE OF U. S. REPRESENTATIVE.
         A candidate to be voted on at a special election occasioned by a
      vacancy in the office of United States representative, shall be
      nominated by a convention duly called by the district central
      committee not less than twenty-five days prior to the date set for
      the special election.
