CHAPTER 524 - BANKS
524.219 - FEES.

        524.219  FEES.
         1.  A state bank subject to examination, supervision, and
      regulation by the superintendent shall pay to the superintendent
      fees, established by the superintendent, based on the costs and
      expenses incurred in the discharge of the duties imposed upon the
      superintendent by this chapter.  The fees shall include, but are not
      limited to, costs and expenses for salaries, expenses and travel for
      employees, office facilities, supplies, and equipment.
         2.  The fees for examination of any affiliate of a state bank as
      provided for in section 524.1105, and the examinations provided for
      in section 524.217, subsection 1, paragraphs "c" and "d",
      shall be established by the superintendent, based on the time
      required for the examination and the administrative costs and
      expenses incurred in the discharge of the duties imposed upon the
      superintendent by this chapter.  The fees shall include, but not be
      limited to, costs and expenses for salaries, expenses and travel for
      employees, office facilities, supplies, and equipment.
         3.  Failure to pay the amount of the fees to the superintendent
      within ten days after the date of billing shall subject the state
      bank or any affiliate of a state bank to an additional charge equal
      to five percent of the amount of the fees for each day the payment is
      delinquent.
