31-11-11-6. Attempt to Solemnize Marriage by Person Not Authorized to Solemnize Marriages

Sec. 6. A person who:

(1) attempts to solemnize a marriage; and

(2) is not authorized to solemnize marriages by IC 31-11-6;

commits a Class B misdemeanor.
