ARTICLE 24. CHARTER SCHOOLS
CHAPTER 1. Definitions
20-24-1-2.5. "Authorizer"

IC 20-24-1-2.5 "Authorizer"

     Sec. 2.5. "Authorizer" means, for a charter school, one (1) of the following:

(1) Subject to IC 20-24-2.2-1.2, a governing body.

(2) A state educational institution that offers a four (4) year baccalaureate degree.

(3) The executive (as defined in IC 36-1-2-5) of a consolidated city.

(4) The charter board.

(5) Subject to IC 20-24-2.2-1.2, a governing board of a nonprofit college or university that provides a four (4) year educational program for which it awards a baccalaureate or more advanced degree, including the following:

Butler University

Calumet College of St. Joseph

DePauw University

Earlham College

Franklin College

Goshen College

Grace College

Hanover College

Holy Cross College

Huntington University

Indiana Tech

Indiana Wesleyan University

Manchester College

Marian University

Martin University

Oakland City University

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

Saint Joseph's College

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College

Saint Mary's College

Taylor University

Trine University

University of Evansville

University of Indianapolis

University of Notre Dame

University of Saint Francis

Valparaiso University

Wabash College.
