Chapter 1. Definitions
IC 22-4.1-1-1
Applicability of definitions
Sec. 1. The definitions in this chapter apply throughout this article.

"Commissioner"
Sec. 2. "Commissioner" refers to the commissioner of the
department of workforce development appointed under
IC 22-4.1-3-1.

"Council"
Sec. 2.5. "Council" refers to the state workforce innovation
council established by IC 22-4.1-22-3.

"Department"
Sec. 3. "Department" refers to the department of workforce
development established under IC 22-4.1-2.

"Fund"
Sec. 4. "Fund", except as provided in IC 22-4.1-21-7, refers to the
state workforce development fund established under IC 22-4.1-6-1.

"One stop center"
Sec. 5. "One stop center" means a physical location that provides
access to all one stop services required by WIOA.

"WIOA"

Opportunity Act of 2014 (P.L.113-128), including reauthorizations
