This chapter applies when the records kept in the recorder's offices of the various counties: (1) contain records of instruments purporting to be deeds, mortgages, trust deeds, assignments, releases, or other instruments entitled to record by Indiana recording statutes; and (2) the records of instruments described in subdivision (1) have been recorded in records other than those designated by statute for the recording of instruments. As added by P.L.1-1998, SEC.37. IC 34-41-6-2 Admissibility Sec. 2. The records of instruments and certified copies of records of instruments described in section 1 of this chapter are admissible in evidence after the instruments have been recorded for twenty (20) years.
