Chapter 19. Dubois County
IC 33-33-19-1
Judicial circuit
Sec. 1. Dubois County constitutes the fifty-seventh judicial circuit.

Establishment of standard superior court
Sec. 2. (a) There is established a court of record to be known as
the Dubois superior court.
(b) The Dubois superior court is a standard superior court as
described in IC 33-29-1.
(c) Dubois County comprises the judicial district of the superior
court.

Judge; location of court sessions
Sec. 3. The Dubois superior court has one (1) judge who shall hold
sessions in:
(1) the Dubois County courthouse in Jasper; or
(2) other places in the county as the board of county
commissioners of Dubois County may provide.

Clerk and sheriff
Sec. 4. The clerk of the Dubois circuit court shall serve as the
clerk of the Dubois superior court, and the sheriff of Dubois County
shall serve as the sheriff of the Dubois superior court. The sheriff
shall attend the court. The clerk and the sheriff shall perform the
same duties relating to their offices as they are required to do with
respect to the Dubois circuit court.
