Chapter 6. Penalty; Civil Action
IC 24-8-6-1 Version a
Violations of article; felony

Sec. 1. A person who knowingly or intentionally violates this
article commits a Class D felony.

Sec. 1. A person who knowingly or intentionally violates this
article commits a Level 6 felony.

Civil liability
Sec. 2. A sponsor or promoter who violates this article is liable to
an aggrieved person for the greater of:
(1) two (2) times the actual damages sustained by the person; or
(2) five hundred dollars ($500) plus attorney's fees.

Deceptive consumer sales actions; penalties
Sec. 3. A person who violates this article commits a deceptive act
that is actionable by the attorney general under IC 24-5-0.5 and is
subject to the penalties listed in IC 24-5-0.5.
