CHAPTER 4. ADULT STEM CELL RESEARCH CENTER

The board of trustees of Indiana University may establish an adult stem cell research center. As added by P.L.2-2007, SEC.286. IC 21-45-4-2 Administration Sec. 2. The center must be under the administration of the Indiana University School of Medicine. As added by P.L.2-2007, SEC.286. IC 21-45-4-3 Director Sec. 3. The dean of the Indiana University School of Medicine shall appoint the director of the center. As added by P.L.2-2007, SEC.286. IC 21-45-4-4 Funding Sec. 4. The board of trustees of Indiana University may receive, accept, hold, and apply donations, bequests of funds, property, gifts, and other income in support of the center's purposes. As added by P.L.2-2007, SEC.286. IC 21-45-4-5 Duties Sec. 5. The center shall: (1) conduct a thorough and comprehensive needs assessment of the state of science of adult stem cell research; and (2) develop strategies to move Indiana University into the forefront of the nation in its capacity to attract and retain adult stem cell researchers. As added by P.L.2-2007, SEC.286.
