Chapter 4. Division of Planning and Assessment

Division established
Sec. 1. The division of planning and assessment is established
within the department.

Duties
Sec. 2. The division shall do the following:
(1) Develop a single strategic plan for preparing for and
responding to homeland security emergencies.
(2) Assess state and local security needs.
(3) Disburse federal and state homeland security money for all
Indiana state and local governments.

Deputy executive director
Sec. 3. The executive director shall appoint an individual as a
deputy executive director to manage the division.
