Sec. 0.01.
Short title.
This Act may be cited as the
Appellate Court Law Clerk and Secretary Act.

(705 ILCS 30/1) (from Ch. 37, par. 60)
Sec. 1.
Each judge of the appellate court may appoint one senior law clerk and
one junior law clerk to assist the judge as the judge may direct. Such
appointment shall be made in writing, and shall be filed with the Supreme
Court. The law clerks shall each receive such salary as the Supreme Court
may determine. Such law clerks shall be graduates of an accredited law
school.

Sec. 2.
Each appellate court judge may appoint one stenographic secretary to
assist the judge as the judge may direct. The stenographic secretary so
appointed shall receive such salary as the Supreme Court may determine.
