Sec. 46.
Qualification for enlistment in and separation from service of
enlisted personnel of the Illinois National Guard shall be in accordance
with the provisions of the laws of the
United States and the rules and regulations based thereon.

Sec. 47.
Enlisted personnel who may be dishonorably discharged from the
Illinois National Guard shall be ineligible to
hold any elective or appointive office, position or employment, in the
service of the State of Illinois, any county, or any municipality thereof,
for a period of five years unless such disability be removed by the
Governor.
