Sec. 1.
Every board of public park commissioners desiring to select or
secure land or lands as a site for an armory for the use of the National
Guard or for the purpose of establishing and maintaining a landing field
for air craft is hereby authorized to set apart a portion of its own lands
or to acquire real estate for such a site or for the purpose of
establishing a landing field for air craft, and to provide for the
maintenance and operation of such a landing field; provided that such field
shall always be subject to such regulations as such park board shall make
applicable thereto, and all ordinances passed by said board in relation to
the government of parks under its control; and provided, further, that said
field shall not be used for the storage, parking, repairing or replenishing
of air craft.
