Sec. 0.01.
Short title.
This Act may be cited as the
Shore Lands for Park Use Act.

Sec. 1.
Any city, town or village
which has heretofore acquired or shall hereafter acquire control over
any lands bordering upon any public waters in this state, and the
riparian rights appurtenant thereto, may grant, convey or release any of
such lands or rights for park purposes to any park commissioners, park
board or board of park commissioners having control of any park within
the territorial limits of such city, town or village, and may make
agreements with any such park commissioners, park board or board of park
commissioners for the reclamation by such park commissioners, park board
or board of park commissioners for park purposes of submerged lands
under the public waters adjacent to the lands controlled by such city,
town or village: Provided, however, that no such park commissioners,
park board or board of park commissioners, may grant, convey, lease or
release any lands so acquired or the riparian rights appurtenant thereto
to any private person or corporation.
