(65 ILCS 5/1‑6‑1) (from Ch. 24, par. 1‑6‑1)
Sec. 1‑6‑1.
No person shall be incompetent to serve as judge or juror by
reason of his or her being an inhabitant or owner or life tenant in
real estate in a municipality, in any action or proceeding in which that
municipality may be a party in interest.
