Section 31-3616 - HOSPITAL SERVICE UPON PREPAYMENT OR ASSURANCE PLAN.

31-3616. HOSPITAL SERVICE UPON PREPAYMENT OR ASSURANCE PLAN. The county hospital board shall have power to contract with persons, associations, corporations or any other bodies engaged in providing for hospital service upon a prepayment or assurance plan, for the rendition of service by the hospital in the future, and under such contracts may accept and credit to the payer any sum or sums of money in prepayment of services to be rendered in the future, but such contracts shall be conditioned upon space and facilities being available in the hospital at the time such services are required. The county hospital board shall have no power to loan or give any money in its possession for hospital purposes to any person, partnership, association, corporation or any other body whatever.
