37-708. Rules, regulations and standards to be prescribed. The director of the department of agriculture is hereby authorized and directed to prescribe rules, regulations and standards of equipment and sanitation in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and not inconsistent with the statement of purpose contained in section 37-701, Idaho Code, whenever, in its opinion, new and/or different methods of pasteurizing milk or milk products have attained a degree of scientific advancement which will more certainly effectuate the purposes of this chapter.
